Small Business Guides

Small Business Guides

If you want to start your own small business it is important to keep up to date with things that relate to your business. The assumption is that you are a specialist or at least well experienced in the field you want to start a business in. However, if you start your own business there are naturally many things you do not know anything about. For some things you can consider outsourcing tasks (accounting is a good example for this). However, in other areas this is not a feasible solution and cost prohibitive and you have to find a solution yourself.

A great resource for business related guides and tutorials is (of course) this very website (Small Business Land), but there are many other websites out there. One website that I like I particular is Work.com. Work.com is not your typical article directory or ad bloated website (like About.com), it is actually a website with really well-sorted, business related content. I actually have started publishing some business tutorials on this website and love it. Publishing information there is easy and many well-known authors that publish small business related information in books or their own websites, also publish here.

On Work.com I can find legal information or Human Resources related information with just a few clicks. And the number of topics just goes on and on. As a small business owner myself I like this website due to the way how the information is organized. Check it out yourself.
