Welcome to the Small Business Land website. My name is Chris Puetz and I am a small business owner since 2002. It has been quite a ride and I really enjoy what I do. Over the course of the years I have learned a lot, have made many mistakes, and was also fortunate enough to run my business in a profitable way, too. Owning a successful business requires a lot of work and often enough it requires to wear many different hats.
In the beginning I did not know anything about running a business and I learned by doing stuff. It was fund and challenging at the same time. However, there were so many different sources with business knowledge out there that it was hard to keep track of all the different websites. Since I work online, I decided to start another website and use it to keep track of business related topics and information. The website has grown quite a bit I think. I have also become quite busy and I did fail to provide more frequent updates. Now, in 2010 I am fortunate enough to be able to work on other projects again without taking time away from my core business and so Smallbusinessland.com is being updated more frequently.
Anyway, I am passionate about running my own business. You need to be passionate to succeed in the business world. I hope that this website can help a little bit.
